        Frequently Asked Questions

        How far in advance should I book my Bridal Makeup?

        Bridal Booking & Reservation

        To help ensure availability for your wedding date, we recommend booking your bridal hair and makeup services 6–12 months in advance.

        A $100 non-refundable reservation fee is required to officially reserve your date and secure your place on the Simply Elegant Beauty calendar. This reservation fee is a separate fee and is not included in or applied toward your contracted service total.

        Wedding dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and your date is not officially secured until the reservation fee has been received. 🤍

        Once your reservation fee is received, we’ll send your confirmation and begin the process of finalizing your services, contract, and wedding-day timeline.

        Is there an Additional Artist Fee?

        Yes, A fee of $250 per additional artist will apply if additional artists are required. The number of artists needed will be determined based on party size and timeline requirements.

        Do you offer makeup Trials?

        At Simply Elegant Beauty, we offer personalized hair and makeup trials to help you feel confident, radiant, and completely yourself on your special day. 🤍

        Bridal Trials

        We recommend scheduling your bridal trial approximately 1–3 months before your wedding date. This gives us plenty of time to perfect your look and make any adjustments before your big day.

        Your bridal trial is included with your bridal package. When your trial is completed, 50% of your total bridal package price is due that day.

        For example, if you have our Deluxe Bridal Package at $425, your trial is included in the package, and $212.50 will be due on the day of your trial.

        Your trial is the perfect opportunity to work one-on-one with your artist, discuss your vision, try out your desired hair and makeup look, and make any adjustments needed so you feel completely confident on your wedding day. ✨

        Non-Bridal Trials

        For occasions such as prom, maternity, engagement photos, or other special events, trials are available at 85% of the regular service price.

        All trials are held at our studio or another agreed-upon location based on availability.

        We love using trials as a chance to collaborate with you, bring your vision to life, and make sure you absolutely love your final look! 💕

        Is there a Travel Fee?

        On-Site Services & Travel

        Simply Elegant Beauty is proud to be an on-site professional hair and makeup team, bringing a luxury beauty experience directly to you on your special day. 🤍

        Travel is complimentary within the first 30 miles of St. Cloud, MN. Beyond the first 30 miles, a travel fee of $1 per mile applies.

        For early start times or locations that require an overnight stay, additional fees for accommodations or lodging may apply. Any necessary arrangements and associated fees will be discussed with you and confirmed during the booking process.

        Early Start Fee

        For weddings requiring services to begin before 6:30 AM, a $125 early start fee will apply.

        This fee helps cover the additional time required for our artists to accommodate an early morning start while ensuring we can provide the same professional, relaxed, and stress-free Simply Elegant Beauty experience you deserve on your wedding day. 🤍✨
